The DUO is an add-on service promo available only to Globe postpaid subscribers. It allows subscribers unlimited calling to and from any landline number as well as unlimited calling to and from any DUO postpaid mobile subscriber. Globe has initially rolled out this service to NCR and Cebu only.

With DUO's Unlimited Calling, you can:

How It Works

1. Subscription to Globe DUO Service is Php399 for 30days on top of a Globe Plan.

2. Once subscribed, you will be given your Duo Landline number. Now, your mobile phone and SIM will have two (2) numbers: your current mobile number (i.e. 0917-XXX-XXXX) and your Duo Landline number (i.e. 02-XXX-XXXX).

3. Upon activation, the following calls are rendered free of charge: DUO to any Landline calls, any Landline to DUO calls, and DUO to DUO calls. Calls made to other mobile numbers are charged regular mobile rates.

4. Everytime you call, no need for a keyword or special prefix:

a. To call any landline just dial the area code and the landline number

b. To call another DUO number just dial the area code and the DUO number of the person you are calling

c. For any landline to call you a person will just dial the area code and your DUO landline number

5. Service is initially available in NCR and Cebu only. All other calls outside the area code (02 for NCR or 32 for Cebu) will be charged regular mobile NDD rates.



How to Avail 

1. Promo is open to all Globe Postpaid subscribers.

2. Subscriber can avail of the service through the Business Centers or Register via SMS (with required SMS acceptance of Terms and Conditions). Simply text DUO to 8888.

3. There will be an initial 90-day holding period for new activations, subject to pre-termination fee of Php1,200.

4. You can only avail of one (1) active DUO landline number for every active Globe line, at any one time.

5. After the holding period, subscription is auto-renewed on a monthly basis unless otherwise requested by the subscriber.

6. In cases of fraud, Globe reserves the right to discontinue the DUO service, and any of the subscriptions. DUO is not available for International Service Resale.

7. Duo is currently not available for prepaid or corporate accounts.

What is the Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 promo?

It is a bulk SMS offer that allows you to send 100 Globe-Globe Text Messages and 10 Text Messages to other networks for only P20. This is open to Globe Prepaid subscribers only and is good for 1 day! P1 maintaining balance required.

What are considered as inter and intra SMS?

Globe to Globe messages are considered as intra SMS, while messages to other networks such as TM, Sun, Smart and Talk ‘N Text are considered as inter SMS.

How long will this promo run?

Who can avail of the Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 promo?

This promo is open to Globe Prepaid subscribers only.

How can I avail of this promo?

Simply text ETXT 20 to 2868 to register. P20 will be automatically deducted from your prepaid account upon registration. A minimum of P21 load is required for registration and the system will not be able to process your request if your load is below P21.

When can I begin sending Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 after registration? How long is the activation time from registration?

Activation is within 24 hours from registration. Please wait for the confirmation message that will be sent to you regarding activation.

How much prepaid balance should I maintain in order to enjoy my Globe EVERYBODYTXT20?

You need to maintain a P1 minimum balance in order to continuously enjoy your Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 subscription. If you are registered but used up your load from texts to other networks or from calls, your Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 will only resume once you reload your account. But in terms of expiry, your Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 will still expire 24 hours from the time of activation and will not be extended because of the reloading.

I still have free SMS in my prepaid account. What will happen to my FREE SMS once I register to Globe EVERYBODYTXT20?

Your EVERYBODYTXT20 SMS should be consumed first before your regular FREE SMS will be deducted from your prepaid account.

How will I know how many remaining Globe EVERYBODYTXT20 I still have?

Send ETXT BAL to 2868 to check the status of your Globe EVERYBODYTXT20. Checking of balance is P1 per send.

Can I register again while I haven’t consumed yet my current Globe EVERYBODYTXT20?

No. You will receive an error message informing you that you still have EVERYBODYTXT20 credits remaining.

Can I turn off the service and register again?

Yes. Just key in ETXT OFF send to 2868 and then register again. You can do this if you’ve consumed your ETXT 20 SMS but your 24 hours subscription is still active.

If I am registered to other SMS offers, what other SMS services can I avail of?

If you still have regular FREE SMS prior to your registration, then those will be used. If there is no more FREE SMS, you will be charged the regular SMS rate.

What happens if I’ve consumed my 100 Globe to Globe SMS but I still have SMS for other networks? Will my promo subscription expire?

No, once you’ve consumed the intra SMS (Globe to Globe) allocation, your next Globe text message will be charged to your Free SMS (if you still have) or to your load (if you no longer have FREE SMS).

What happens if I’ve consumed my 10 SMS to other networks but still have remaining balance for my Globe to Globe SMS? Will my promo subscription expire?

No, once you’ve consumed the inter SMS (SMS to other networks), the next SMS to other networks will be charged to your Free SMS (if you still have) or to your load (if you no longer have FREE SMS).

If in less than 24 hours, I’ve consumed my 100 Globe-Globe SMS and the 10 SMS to other networks, can I register again to the promo?

No, because you’re still subscribed to the promo. You can, however, turn it OFF by texting ETXT OFF to 2868. Then you can register again.
